OAKDRIGE, Ore. – Evacuation notices have been upgraded to a Level 2 for part of Oakridge.

The Kwis Fire in the Middle Fork Complex continues to grow in the area.

Level 2 Be Set means residents should be ready to leave at a moment’s notice. People in the evacuation zone are advised to gather any necessary documents and items and check for any changes to fire danger.

Meanwhile, Level 1 Be Ready means residents should be aware of fire danger in the area and be ready to leave if conditions change.

Gov. Kate Brown invoked the Emergency Conflagration Act on Tuesday, freeing up additional resources to help fight the fires.
