EUGENE, Ore. -- A month after three major fires started in our area alone, no evacuation notices remain.

The Holiday Farm Fire in Lane County and the Archie Creek Fire and Thielsen Fire in Douglas County each triggered several severe evacuation notices.

The last remaining notices were lifted on Thursday, Oct. 8, in Douglas County.

Although evacuation notices have been lifted, many area residents remain displaced by the fires and hundreds of homes have been destroyed.

All fires are gradually nearing full containment.
