CORVALLIS, Ore. -- There’s a fun, interactive way for kids to learn about reducing their carbon footprint this weekend in Corvallis.

The Eco-Edu-Tainment event is happening Sunday at the Corvallis-Benton County Library.

Elementary and middle school aged children and their families can learn about preventing wasted food and saving money. It’s a good chance for teachers and families to see what’s being offered in local classrooms.

Local musician Magic Mama will perform, and she’ll have recycled “waste-struments,” so the audience can play along.

It starts at 1:30 p.m.
