COBURG, Ore. – A man died in a crash north of Coburg on Thursday, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office said.

One vehicle was involved in the crash on North Coburg Road, deputies said.

Investigators said James Baker, 63, of Harrisburg was driving south by himself when his 1993 Nissan minivan went off the road and rolled, coming to a rest on its roof in a ditch 10 feet from the road.

He was wearing his seatbelt at the time, and neither alcohol nor speed played a role in the crash, deputies said.

The investigation is ongoing.
