Fatal crash near Leaburg closes down Hwy 126

This happened on Holden Creek Road, about a mile west of Leaburg. According to Oregon State Police, there were two cars involved in the crash.

LEABURG, Ore. - A fatal crash on Highway 126 closed the highway for about three hours on Monday evening.

The crash happened near Holden Creek Road about a mile west of Leaburg, shortly before 9 p.m. 

A preliminary investigation by Oregon State Police revealed that a Toyota 4-Runner driven by Nathan Lee Langan, 29, of Harrisburg, was traveling westbound and crossed into the oncoming lane, striking an eastbound Ford F350 pickup truck.

Langan sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck had minor injuries.

Oregon State Police said the highway was closed for about three hours.

OSP was assisted by Lane County Sheriff's Office, Oregon Department of Transportation and McKenzie Fire.
