GLIDE, Ore. --A fire located one-mile northwest of Glide is prompting level three and two evacuations orders.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has issued a level 3 or "GO!" evacuation notice for residents living on Single Tree Lane, Rivershore Drive and along North Bank Road between 17225 North Bank Road and the east North Bank Bridge.

All homes between 13767 North Bank Road and 16998 North Bank Road , including all road systems between the two addresses are in a level two or "Be Set" evacuation order. Level 2 orders also remain in place for homes along French Creek Road.

Crews arrived on scene Monday night to a 20-acre fire but strong winds caused it to spread and it is now estimated to be 450 acres.

The Red Cross will have resources at the Glide Middle School parking lot for homeowners who have been evacuated. Douglas County Commissioners have made arrangements for residents affected by the fire to board their horses at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
