Four new coronavirus cases in Lane County

The county's total is now 16.

EUGENE, Ore. -- There are four more cases of novel coronavirus in Lane County, public health officials said Monday.

This brings the county's total to 16 cases. Two of the new cases involve people currently in a hospital.

The following are the latest cases:

  • A woman in her 30s in a private residence in the Eugene-Springfield area who is medically stable at home
  • A woman in her 80s in a private residence in the Eugene-Springfield area who is medically stable at home
  • A man in his 60s who was in a private residence in the Eugene-Springfield area who is now hospitalized and in stable condition
  • A man in his 50s from a private residence outside the Eugene-Springfield area who is now hospitalized and in stable condition

Individuals who had contact with these people will be contacted by public health officials. Public exposure points will be communicated to the public, officials said.
