SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Small businesses in Springfield can pick up free personal protective equipment (PPE) at the Springfield Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday.

Any business with less than 500 employees that operates in Springfield can get masks, gloves, various types of sanitizer and touchless thermometers at the Chambers of Commerce between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Attendees of the drop-in event can park at the chamber parking lot, and the event is outside. Attendees should bring face masks for when physical distancing isn’t possible.

Supplies are not guaranteed or confirmed as medical grade. When picking up PPE, businesses will be asked to provide a business name, their business’ physical address and contact information.

Since this effort began, Springfield has 109 automatic sanitizer stands, 45,000 masks and nearly 200,000 gloves to the local small business community.

The chamber is located at 101 South A Street.
