Free protective gear available for Oregon farmers this week

EUGENE, Ore. -- The State of Oregon will be giving out free KN95 masks and hand sanitizer to farmers and other agriculture producers at certain locations across the state.

Gov. Kate Brown directed 1 million masks and 5,000 gallons of hand sanitizer to be made available to farmers and agriculture producers.

If you work in the agriculture industry, here is where you can pick up personal protective equipment by county:

Wednesday, May 27: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Linn, Benton: 33630 McFarland Rd, Tangent 97389

Thursday, May 28: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Douglas, Coos: 333 NE Jackson Street, Roseburg 97470
