RAINBOW, Ore. -- A new Level 3 evacuation order was issued just before midnight for residents near Blue River and McKenzie Bridge.

Level 3 means "GO NOW."

A level 3 evacuation notice is extended to Walterville Elementary from McKenzie Ranger station, especially the North Gate Creek and Goodpasture areas as the fire is moving west according to officials.

All residents on both sides of Hwy 126 from Leaburg East to the McKenzie River Ranger Station should leave immediately, according to Lane County officials. Those in Blue River must evacuate to the west. This includes residents of the Holiday Farm RV Park and Dearborn Island Road.

A level 2 evacuation notice has been set from Hwy 126 from the McKenzie Ranger Station in McKenzie Bridge to Hwy 20 (Santiam Hwy).

Level 2 means be prepared to leave at a moment's notice.

Level 1 evacuation notice for residents west of Leaburg is now extended to Thurston Road.

A level 1 evacuation means be aware of the danger that exists in your area and preparing for possible evacuation.

The updated evacuation point is Thurston High School for those in Blue River and west of Blue River. Those east of Blue River should travel east toward Sisters.

Evacuees who went East to escape the McKenzie Fire is asked to go to the Deschutes County Fairgrounds in Redmond at 3800 SE Airport Way where a temporary evacuation point has been set up.
