Washington, D.C. - New numbers show a growing perception that the GOP's tax reform bill will benefit the wealthiest Americans.

A new CNN poll found 55% of respondents opposing the tax proposal. That's 10% more people who oppose the bill than in November.

That same poll found support for the bill is up slightly from November, now at 33% compared to 31%.

According to new analysis, big business stands to benefit from the bill's passing. The corporate tax rate would drop from 35%-21%.

The top tax rate would also be reduced to 37%, from 39%.

Republicans have promised the tax plan is aimed at the middle class. But the individual tax cuts expire after 8 years, and analysts predict that 70% of middle income Americans would see a tax hike.
