ALBANY, Ore – More than 2,500 parents participated in Greater Albany Public Schools' survey on distance learning.

GAPS wanted to get feedback on how distance learning is working out for students and parents since schools closed due to COVID-19.

The data collected through the survey shows about half those who responded said they have weekly communication with teachers.

Data was also collected on parents' communication with teachers.

Ninety percent responded with at least "somewhat agree" when asked if they felt supported by teachers and seventy percent said "agree" or "strongly agree."

The survey results were broken down into a consolidated district report and a district by race and ethnicity report.
