Herbert gets academic honor for 4.06 GPA

The quarterback is the Ducks’ first football player to get the national award since 1990.

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert is getting honored for his work off the football field.

He’s been named the Google Cloud Academic All-America Team Member of the Year.

Herbert is majoring in biology with a 4.06 GPA.

He’s the Ducks’ first football player to get the national award since Bill Musgrave in 1990.

Herbert recently confirmed that he’ll be returning to the University of Oregon for his senior year.
