EUGENE, Ore. -- Oregon head football coach Mario Cristobal announced defensive backs Jamal Hill and DJ James will be available for the Ohio State game on Saturday.
The two players were suspended indefinitely before the season after allegedly shooting an air soft gun at vehicles in downtown Eugene last month.
Hill and James returned to practice more than week ago.
"There was a little rust that had to get knocked off," Ducks defensive coordinator Tim DeRuyter says. "They've been looking pretty good at practice this week. They'll be competing right away for jobs."
Hill was listed as a backup safety on the depth chart behind Bennett Williams.
James was named a co-starter at cornerback along with Trikweze Bridges and Dontae Manning.
Oregon and Ohio State are set to kick off at 9 A.M. on Saturday.
