Fire damages house in Eugene

EUGENE, Ore.--- A Eugene house is partially damaged Sunday following a fire.

This happened on the 3900 block of Elmira Road around 4:00 p.m. Sunday.

Officials said the fire started outside, in front of the house, then spread inside the house and into the attic.

There was smoke damage in front rooms, burned parts outside the house and the front deck.

A dog and cat was rescued from the home but no person was inside when the fire started.

There were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire in under investigation.
