SWEET HOME, Ore. -- Around 300 people lined the streets in Sweet Home to show their support for the family of a 6-year-old who died after a jet ski accident.
On Thursday, KEZI 9 News learned that 6-year-old Zachary Maynard died.

Community members lined up along Long Street from Sweet Home High School to 43rd Street around 6:30 p.m.
Many community members held up signs, banners and cut out hearts with messages of support and love for the Maynard family.
The Maynard family was escorted by a fire truck which KEZI 9 News has learned was one of Zachary's favorite things.
The other child that was hit by a jet ski on Monday at Lewis Creek Park is still in the hospital as of Thursday night.

The Linn County Sheriff's office said they're scheduling an inspection to find out why the kill switch didn't work on the 2020 Sea-Doo SPARK TRIXX Model.
If you want to help the families of the children involved there is a bottle drive fundraiser on Saturday from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the O'Reilly's Auto Parts in Sweet Home.
A GoFundMe has also been set up for both Maynard and Swenson.
