EUGENE, Ore. --- Hundreds of people gathered together to celebrate the life of community hero, Scott Chambers.
A public celebration of life was held on Saturday morning in the White Oak Pavilion at Mt. Pisgah Arboretum.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be given to KidSports in memory of Scott’s dedication to children and sports.
Chambers was a leader, friend and member of the KEZI 9 News family.
Chambers, 59, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year and passed away on November 3rd. He is survived by his wife, Kellie, three children, and two grandchildren.
