ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office K9 tracked a wanted man in Roseburg, leading to the arrest of Kaleb Abraham, a 30-year-old Washington County resident with two felony warrants.

Deputies responded to the 100 block of Kestrel Lane at 8:30 p.m. Friday. They found indications a crawlspace cover had been removed and called in K9 Grim. They said Grim tracked Abraham to a field on the property and found him hiding in nearby brush.

Abraham told deputies he ran when he saw their car pulling up. Deputies said Abraham was taken to the Douglas County Jail on the warrants and a trespassing charge.

Grim has been with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office since 2013.
