EUGENE, Ore. – Lane Transit District will start offering regular bus service June 7 and they're asking passengers to only make essential trips and wear face coverings while on board.

Sunday bus service was suspended at the end of March because of COVID-19.

LTD is limiting their 40-foot buses to 20 passengers, and their 60-foot buses will allow for 30 passengers.

This is about 40 percent of what LTD typically allows.

LTD will continue to operate on a limited schedule, so riders should check the routes before they go.

They are not charging fares until further notice.
