EUGENE, Ore. – Lane County’s COVID-19 spike continues with nine new cases reported on Tuesday.
This brings the total of cases since the start of the pandemic to 726, including those that are confirmed and presumptive.
Currently, 46 people are considered infectious, a number that continues to rise not long after the number was decreasing daily.

KEZI 9 News is continuing to track an outbreak at Evergreen Memory Care. As of Monday, 18 cases had been tied to the facility, including staff and residents. Not all test results had come back, so more cases could be connected to the outbreak.
Three people are hospitalized, and six have died as a result of the pandemic, officials said. Nearly 55,000 tests have been conducted.
