EUGENE, Ore. – Lane County Public Health reported 116 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, as well as one more death.
Officials said a 76-year-old man from the Eugene-Springfield area died on Tuesday due to complications of COVID-19. He was in the hospital when he died.
The new cases bring the total for confirmed and presumptive cases to 3,500. Of those, 16 are in the hospital with three in the intensive care unit, 375 are considered infectious and 665 are under monitoring.
There have been more than 91,900 negative tests.
