Lane County adds 12 new cases

More than 30,800 tests have been conducted for county residents.

EUGENE, Ore. – On Thursday, Lane County Public Health added 12 new cases to its coronavirus count.

Counting both confirmed and presumptive cases, the county total is now 336.

Currently, 49 are considered infectious. Four people are in the hospital, one more than yesterday.

More than 30,800 tests have been conducted for county residents.

Officials said 320 residents were tested at Wednesday’s event at the Lane Events Center parking lot.

The county is planning to hold another free testing event in the Eugene-Springfield area. Stay with KEZI 9 News for the latest.
