Lane County adds 123 coronavirus cases over the weekend

The total since the start of the pandemic has reached 1,846.

EUGENE, Ore. – With 123 new COVID-19 cases reported over the weekend in Lane County, the total since the start of the pandemic has reached 1,846.

Of the total – which includes confirmed and presumptive cases – 229 are considered still infectious and 13 people are in the hospital. The death toll remains at 22.

More than 71,000 tests have come back negative, officials said.

People who have had contact with a case will be reached out to by Lane County Public Health.
