EUGENE, Ore. – Lane County Public Health reported 65 new COVID-19 cases on Friday and one more death.
There have been 7,521 confirmed and presumptive cases since the start of the pandemic. The death toll has risen to 96. At this time, 40 people are in the hospital with seven in intensive care, 352 are infectious and 502 are under monitoring.
A total of 5,574 people have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in Lane County. Public health officials say they have received 1,200 as of now. These will be distributed to health care providers, congregate care staff, and first responders.
