Lane County reports one new coronavirus case

The county total is now at 55.

EUGENE, Ore. – Lane County has one new case of coronavirus, public health officials said Monday.

This brings the county’s total to 55 positive test results.

Officials said the latest case is a man in his 20s who lives in a private residence outside the Eugene-Springfield area. He is medically stable and at home.

Those who had contact with him will be contacted by Lane County Public Health. The investigation is ongoing.
