EUGENE, Ore. – There are 11 new cases in Lane County, public health officials reported Monday. There are also four new presumptive cases.
This brings the county total of positive tests to 103 and presumptive cases to four.
Eight of the new cases are people in their 20s in the Eugene-Springfield area. Officials said they are all recovering in isolation, and they have an epidemiological link. They were identified through disease investigations.
There are also two people in their 40s who are in the Eugene-Springfield area and are recovering in isolation. One of the cases has an epidemiological link.
Lastly, an individual in their teens is recovering in isolation in the Eugene-Springfield area.
Those who had contact with these community members will be contacted by Lane County Public Health.
