Lane County reports 16 new cases

EUGENE, Ore. – There are 16 new coronavirus cases in Lane County, officials said on Wednesday.

This brings the county total to 167, including both confirmed and presumptive cases. Two people are in the hospital. More than 23,500 tests have been conducted

The announcement comes the first day of a statewide mask requirement. Under Gov. Kate Brown’s rules, Oregonians must wear a face covering when in indoor public spaces with a few exceptions.
