EUGENE, Ore. – Most of the Lane County residents who have tested positive for coronavirus have recovered, officials said as the county prepares to enter phase two on Friday.
With a new case as of Thursday, the county has seen a total of 80 cases, including one presumptive case.
Lane County Public Health said the new case is a person in their 40s in the Eugene-Springfield are who is medically stable at home. It is a case of household transmission.
So far, 64 have recovered in the county. Ten remain sick at home, and two people are hospitalized. Three people have died.
More than 12,500 tests have been conducted for Lane County residents.
