Lane County reports one new case, 80 recoveries

Here's the latest from Lane County.

EUGENE, Or. – Lane County announced a new coronavirus case on Tuesday.

The latest case is a person in their 20s in the Eugene-Springfield area who is recovering at home. A disease investigation is underway.

This makes 89 confirmed cases and one presumptive case for the county.

So far, 80 people have recovered, and seven people are recovering at home. No one is hospitalized with coronavirus at this time.

Public health officials said more than 16,000 tests have been conducted for county residents.

The county’s call center is changing their hours due to a low volume of calls on Saturdays. The hours are now Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
