Lane County reports one new coronavirus case

The county's total is now 56.

EUGENE, Ore. – One more Lane County resident has tested positive for coronavirus, public health officials said Wednesday.

The latest case is a person in their 50s who lives in a private residence in the Eugene-Springfield area. They are medically stable at home.

People who had contact with the person will be contacted by Lane County Public Health.

This brings the county total for positive tests to 56.
