Lane County sees 37 new cases Tuesday

This brings the total for confirmed and presumptive cases to 1,276 since the start of the pandemic.

EUGENE, Ore. – Lane County Public Health reported 37 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday.

This brings the total for confirmed and presumptive cases to 1,276 since the start of the pandemic.

At this time, 10 people are in the hospital and 189 people remain infectious. Officials say 18 people have died of coronavirus-related causes.

There have been more than 65,000 negative tests.

People who had contact with a case will be reached out to by Lane County Public Health.

This is the latest in an ongoing surge in new cases.
