Lane County sees 60th coronavirus case

EUGENE, Ore. – There is one new coronavirus case in Lane County, officials said Tuesday.

This brings the county’s total to 60 positive test results and one presumptive case.

The new case is a person in their 60s who lives in a private residence in the Eugene-Springfield area. They are recovering at home.

So far, more than 6,000 tests have been conducted for county residents.

There have been two suspected coronavirus deaths in the county since the start of the pandemic, officials said.
