EUGENE, Ore. – Lane County Public Health reported 63 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday.
There have been 1,938 cases since the start of the pandemic, including confirmed and presumptive cases. Of those, 16 people are in the hospital, 212 remain infectious, and 669 are under monitoring.
One more resident has died of coronavirus-related causes, bringing the death toll to 23.
A 91-year-old woman from the Eugene-Springfield area died Oct. 10, officials said. She was not in the hospital before her death. Public health officials issued their condolences to her family and friends.
