EUGENE, Ore. – Lane County Public Health reported 80 new cases, a new workplace outbreak and one more death on Tuesday.
Officials said the death toll is now 36 after a 70-year-old Eugene-Springfield woman died on Monday due to complications of COVID-19. She was not in the hospital when she died.
The new outbreak involves six cases tied to Attune Foods, 2600 Prairie Road in Eugene. The business is working with public health to slow spread.
Since the start of the pandemic, the county has seen 3,384 confirmed and presumptive cases. Of those, 14 are in the hospital with four in the intensive care unit, 306 remain infectious and 639 are under monitoring.
