EUGENE, Ore.--After falling case rates, Lane County will move to the "lower" risk category level, state officials announced on Tuesday. Previously, the county was considered "moderate" risk.

Douglas County will also move from "extreme" to "high."

Coos County will remain the "extreme" risk category, one of only two counties in the state ranked so high. The other is Curry County.

The changes take effect on Friday and will last for at least two weeks.
