SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Power is restored to Springfield homes after an outage, Springfield Utility Board said.

Nearly 20,000 Springfield residents lost power at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

The feed from Bonneville Power Administration, the power supplier for Springfield Utility Board, at the Alvie Station was down, which means three substations have lost power, SUB said.

Lane Electric Cooperative also reported an outage impacting the Creswell and Pleasant Hill areas.

They said this is also due to lost BPA feed.
