CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Saturday is the last of five days that Oregon State is offering vaccinations against Meningococcal B.
Students under the age of 25 have to get both doses by February 15th to register for classes. This, after six cases in the couple of years.
Health officials said the disease is uncommon but can be deadly.
As of Friday afternoon, more than 5,700 students have been vaccinated in the latest clinics.
The clinics, which are being held in partnership with Fred Meyer Pharmacy, started on Tuesday. They are held from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Student Experience Center Plaza outside the Memorial Union.
