EUGENE, Ore. -- Four puppies at Greenhill Humane Society are waiting to find a permanent home after being involved in a hoarding case out of western Lane County.

Greenhill staff said 98 dogs were initially taken from a home near Walton in October but a handful of them gave birth, bringing the total to 111.

One female and three males were born in November and are finally ready to go home. Each puppy has been spayed or neutered, are up-to-date on all vaccinations, and have been socialized.

The 8 week-old puppies will go up for adoption on January 9. Greenhill opens at 11 a.m.
