EUGENE, Ore. – The last litter of puppies has been born from a group of more than 100 dogs rescued from a hoarding situation in Lane County.
Staff at Greenhill Humane Society said some of the dogs taken from the home near Walton in October were pregnant, and the last pregnant dog gave birth at a foster home on Sunday.

Several more dogs were adopted from Greenhill this weekend, staff said.
About two dozen dogs are still getting medical care and rehabilitation at Greenhill and aren’t available for adoption yet.
