Level 3 Go order in place for Devil’s Knob Fire

Authorities urge residents to not delay in evacuating, even to gather belongings or make efforts to protect their homes.

CAYNYONVILLE, Ore. – A fire burning east of Canyonville is sparking a new Level 3 GO notice.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said all residents on Ash Valley Road and on South Umpqua Road from Dumont Creek Campground to the 28000 block need to leave immediately.

There is no time to gather belongings as danger is imminent. Authorities advise that residents do not delay evacuating, even to make efforts to protect their homes.
