"We made beautiful doggy bandanas to drop off here so the doggies, when they get picked up, look cute," said McKenzie.

EUGENE, Ore. -- Christmas came early for the dogs at the Greenhill Humane Society.

On Sunday, the Creswell Daisy Troop delivered 30 bandanas for them to wear.  Each one was hand-decorated.

The girls said the bandanas will help the dogs look extra cute and be more adoptable.

This idea all came from a Daisy Troop member's older brother.

"One of the girl scouts is my sister and it was my idea to do this…and the Girl Scouts made it possible," said Tyler.

"We made beautiful doggy bandanas to drop off here so the doggies, when they get picked up, look cute," said McKenzie.

They also took a tour of the animal shelter and continued to spread holiday cheer by caroling to the cats.
