SUTHERLIN, Ore. – A Douglas County man is in jail Monday, accused of luring a child online.
Sutherlin Police said they arrested Seth Drew, 32, at about 6 a.m.
He was taken to the Douglas County Jail on charges of first and second-degree online sexual corruption of a child, luring a minor and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Police said they will not be releasing additional information at this time about how the alleged crimes were committed.
A charge of online sexual corruption of a child involves a “person who is 18 years of age or older and knowingly uses an online communication to solicit a child to engage in sexual contact and intentionally takes a substantial step toward physically meeting with the child. Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the First Degree is a Class B Felony.”
