The man was arrested less than a mile from the shop.
EUGENE, Ore. – A man is accused of stealing a gun in Eugene on Wednesday.
Police said Morris Thalhamer, 31, of Eugene took a gun from Mazama Sporting Goods, 1055 Bailey Hill Road, and ran out of the store.
The call came in at about 11:30 a.m.
A police dog tracked down Thalhamer less than a mile west of the shop, and he was arrested.
