Man arrested with more than $5,000 worth of heroin

Benton County detectives arrest a man with more than $5,000. in heroin on him.

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- A man was arrested after Benton County deputies found more than $5,000. in heroin on his person among other drug paraphernalia.

According to the Benton County Sheriff's Office, detectives saw 27-year-old Kyle Lebar in suspected drug transactions near NW 14th and Monroe Avenue in Corvallis on December 1, 2017.

Detectives said Lebar was arrested and they located a syringe which he admitted contained methamphetamine residue. They also searched his person and backpack where they located suboxone, multiple doubled edged throwing daggers, a digital scale, and more than four and a half ounces of heroin. Detectives said the estimated street value of the heroin was approximately $5,000.

Lebar was booked at the Benton County Jail for unlawful delivery of heroin, unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful possession of a schedule III controlled substance, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, and being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon (x4).
