SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Springfield Police responded to reports of a hit-and-run in the 800 block of Q Street Friday evening.
When officers arrived on scene, they noticed a truck had been driven through a fence.
The driver, who police say was 37-year-old James Negron, reportedly took a bike out of the back of the truck and took off.
Negron then came back to the scene, police said. Officers told KEZI that due to his mannerisms, field sobriety tests were conducted but Negron passed.
He was arrested and taken to jail for reckless driving.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
