Man on motorcycle evades Eugene police

The man reportedly took off on the motorcycle, driving dangerously on West 18th and then West 11th.

EUGENE, Ore. – Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a man who evaded a Eugene motorcycle officer Wednesday morning.

It started at about 7:45 a.m. in the area of West 18th Avenue and City View Street.

The officer reportedly tried to stop a man on a motorcycle after he made an improper left turn. The man didn’t stop and continued west, driving dangerously, on West 18th Avenue and then on West 11th Avenue, police said.

Police said the motorcycle has been described as blue and white and is possibly a Suzuki. It did not have any plates.

The operator has been described as white and appearing to be in his 20s. He was wearing a black full-face helmet, black backpack, red jacket and light gray pants.
