Burgoyne threatened to kill multiple family members and friends if his girlfriend did not meet with him, police said. He was also wanted on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.

Junction City Police Chief Bob Morris said there is no longer a danger to the community.

Around 10:24 p.m. Wednesday, Chief Morris said his department received a tip that Burgoyne was in an undisclosed residence in the Eugene city limits.

Law enforcement chased Burgoyne down on Highway 99 where he crashed his car just south of the Beltline and was then taken into custody.
