SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- For a second night in a row, protestors are taking to the streets in Springfield demanding action be taken against police.
They are meeting at the Springfield Public Library.
According to members of Black Unity, this protest was a last minute decision in response to Friday's stand off with police.
One of Black Unity's leaders who only wanted to provide his first name, Midas, said this is where they will be every night until they see change.
"This protest was planned last minute, after last night's protest we were not planning on being back here tonight," he said. "But with the opposition that we met with the police and with the amount of blatant racism that (we were met with by) the police force we decided this is where we are going to be every single night until we see some change."
