Springfield Subway robbed by masked man with knife

Springfield Police are looking for a man that robbed a Subway wearing a mask similar to the “Scream” movie Tuesday night.

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- A man armed with a knife and wearing a mask robbed the Subway on Mohawk Boulevard Tuesday night.

Employees reported the robbery to Springfield Police at around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday. Employees told police the man had a knife but they were unharmed.

Springfield Police said the man took an unknown amount of money with him.

Springfield Police describe the man as wearing khaki pants with a black hoodie, gloves, light-colored shoes and a mask similar to the “Scream” movie.

Employees told Springfield Police the man was last seen leaving towards Mohawk Boulevard.

Springfield Police searched the area with a police dog but did not find the man. Police are asking anyone who may have information on the case to contact them immediately.
