NORTH BEND, Ore. – Three men are suing the Archdiocese of Portland, claiming they were sexually abused by a priest at a North Bend church.
The lawsuit claims Father Pius Brazauskas sexually abused the three men when they were altar boys at Holy Redeemer Church. They said the abuse happened in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

The men claim Brazauskas kissed them and fondled their private parts when they were between 5 and 11 years old.
They said he was able to use his authority and position to groom them and direct them to engage in sexual acts with him.
Each man is asking for $3 million in damages, and they want $20 million in punitive damages against the defendants. The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Portland is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit.
An obituary shows Brazauskas died in 1990.
The Archdiocese told The World newspaper that they are still studying the lawsuit.
